A Call to Action

Union of Concerned Scientists
The Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS) is an independent nonprofit alliance of more than 100,000 concerned citizens and scientists combining scientific analysis with committed citizen advocacy to build a cleaner, healthier environment and a safer world.
Critical decision-making affecting the futures of every person on this planet is often made by a very small number of world business and political leaders. The UCS Action Center makes it easy for ordinary citizens to communicate directly with these decision makers.
Through the UCS’s Sound Science Initiative, thousands of scientists provide the facts on environmental science to government and the media, working in coalition with other environmental groups that share their goals.
UCS has become a powerful voice for change. To add your voice to this knowledgeable chorus, go to:

The Nobelity Project
The Nobelity Project is an educational and action non-profit dedicated to a better world for all our children. By drawing upon further insights from the Nobel laureates featured in Nobelity and on additional future interviews we are building an internet-based educational project dealing with a wide array of global problems. All of this web-based information will be freely available to schools, businesses and individuals worldwide
The Nobelity project is also working on specific problems encountered during the making and the presentation of this film, starting with the building of a water system for the children of St. Joseph Mahiga Primary School in Kenya. While planting trees with the kids of St. Joseph’s, Turk learned that this school like thousands of others across Kenya and elsewhere in the world had no source for clean drinking water.

“There is nothing magic about change, It’s a getting off your ass and taking action on an issue you care about. It’s not a magical vision for the future, it’s being the future you want to see.”
